Volunteering

Our volunteers are the backbone of Hemophilia of North Carolina. We are grateful to those individuals who have dedicated their time and effort to committees, fund-raising events and to be officers and directors of the organization. They are the key to our success.

If you'd like to make a difference in the community but aren't sure how, take a moment to see how little time it takes to make an invaluable contribution.

What's it take?

  • One day a year for a special event (example: tennis/golf tournaments, holiday celebrations)
  • One to two hours per month on the phone for a limited time of the year (example: special planning group for annual meeting, fund-raising events, educational retreats)
  • Quarterly meetings and three to four hours per month on phone conference (example: board of directors)
  • Annual meeting and one call per month (example: fund development, outreach planning groups)
